Two years later in 1999, the franchise retired the nickname Oilers and became known as the Titans. The change seemingly brought good luck as the Titans went on to win the AFC Championship that year and on to Super Bowl XXXIV. Heading into their 20th season, Nashville fans have much to look forward to with the Tennessee Titans. New uniforms, new coaching staff, new and veteran players; this team is rumored for great things this season. This excitement around this team runs parallel with the energy you will sense in Nashville.
